1:1 Therapy.

A steady, warm, body-aware weekly hour for adults ready to change something at the root — not just cope with it better.

Who comes to weekly therapy

Most of my clients are adults carrying relational trauma, addiction recovery, or the quiet cost of being the person who has held it together for everyone else. High-functioning on the outside. Exhausted underneath.

Some come after a rupture — a relationship, a role, a version of themselves that stopped working. Some come because the coping strategies that got them here have run out. Some come because they finally have the room to look at what they've been carrying since they were much younger.

The rhythm

Fifty minutes. Weekly. In person at the Temecula, CA office, or by secure telehealth across California and New Jersey. Weekly is the format that actually lets us change a pattern — anything less frequent tends to become check-ins, not therapy.

What the first few sessions look like

  1. 01Grounding. We slow down. We build enough footing in the room that the harder material can be approached without flooding.
  2. 02Mapping. We name the patterns — what shows up, when it spikes, what it costs you, what you've already tried.
  3. 03Noticing without judgment. The inner critic gets loud in early sessions. We learn to hear it as information, not truth. That's often where the first real shift happens.

How I work

Relational and body-aware. I follow the pattern, not a protocol. I draw on CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, EMDR, somatic approaches, parts work, and compassion-focused therapy — which of those we use depends on what your system actually needs in the moment, not what I happen to prefer.

When focused trauma work is the right next step, we may add EMDR into the weekly work or scope an EMDR intensive.

How to begin

Book an assessment directly — it takes a small deposit at the time of booking. Or, if you'd like to feel it out first, start with a free 15-minute call. There's no pressure to book anything on the call. See rates for fees.

Questions

Common questions.

How do I know if weekly therapy is right for me?

Weekly gives us enough continuity to actually change something instead of just checking in. If you notice the same pattern showing up in your relationships, your body, or your work — and you're ready to stop white-knuckling through it — a weekly hour is usually the right container. On the free 15-minute call we can talk honestly about whether this is the right fit and pace for you right now.

What happens in the first session?

The first session is not a deep dive. We slow down, get grounded, and start mapping what you're carrying — the patterns, the moments things spike, what you've already tried, what you want to be different. I ask what you need me to know, and I tell you how I work. Nothing gets pushed. Pacing is part of the work from day one.

Do you take insurance?

I'm out of network. Full fee and out-of-network reimbursement details live on the rates page.

Can we do this entirely online?

Yes. Secure telehealth across California and New Jersey works well for most clients, especially for people whose schedules or nervous systems do better without a commute. In-person sessions are available at the Temecula, CA office when that's what you want.

Ready when you are.
