A few things people often ask.
How does insurance work?
I'm in-network with Aetna and UnitedHealthcare through Headway, and I also work with some TRICARE plans. If you'd like to use one of these, I'll help you verify your benefits before the first session.
What's a superbill?
A monthly itemized receipt you can submit to your insurance for out-of-network reimbursement. Many PPO plans reimburse a meaningful percentage. I can't guarantee what your plan will cover — call the number on the back of your card and ask about 'out-of-network outpatient mental health'.
What's a Good Faith Estimate?
Under the No Surprises Act, anyone paying out-of-pocket receives a written estimate of expected charges before care begins. You'll get yours before our first session.
Cancellation policy?
Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice are charged the full fee. Life happens — we extend grace where we can, especially for first-responder schedules.
Telehealth across California & New Jersey
Sessions are held via secure, HIPAA-compliant video so you can do this work from wherever you actually live your life — no commute, no waiting room.
