Accessibility statement.

Katelin Hanhart, LCSW, PC is committed to making this website usable for as many people as possible, including people who rely on assistive technology.

Our approach

We aim to align this site with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. Accessibility is treated as ongoing work rather than a one-time audit — pages and components are reviewed as the site evolves.

What's in place today

  • Semantic HTML5 landmarks (header, nav, main, section, footer) on every page
  • A single H1 per page and a logical heading order
  • Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images
  • Form fields with visible labels, keyboard focus styles, and inline error text
  • Sufficient color contrast against the site's warm cream and slate palette
  • Support for reduced-motion preferences on animated elements
  • Responsive layouts that work at mobile, tablet, and desktop widths

Known limitations

Some third-party content (for example, the external client portal) is provided by vendors and follows its own accessibility conformance. If you encounter a barrier in an embedded or linked tool, please let us know and we'll help you find an alternative way to reach the practice.

Report an accessibility issue

If something on this site is hard to use or a barrier prevents you from reaching us, please email info@katelinhanhart.com. Include the page URL and a brief description of the issue. We'll respond within one business day and offer an accessible alternative in the meantime.

Alternative ways to reach us

You can also reach the practice by phone during business hours (see the contact page), or through the secure client portal. If you're in crisis, call or text 988 or call 911.
